Miz Dee and I took off for parts south last Friday for a day of thrift shopping and sketching. We did lots more thrift shopping than sketching but we both managed a sketch of this Rock Island caboose in Bernice, Louisiana.

Lovely caboose... did you two find some good bargains? You know how lucky you are to have a sketching buddy don't you?
Miz Dee is priceless. My life is all the more richer with her in it. She'll go anywhere and do anything as long as I drive. :)
It was an awesome thrift shopping trip! I ended up with sackloads of stuff, all for about $12. I'm still sorting through it all. Woot!
Great caboose! I think sketching is more fun than shopping.
You are doing great on the non-smoking. How's your husband doing on his new diet - just as well?
freebird - I'm usually not a shopper either, especially for clothes, but poking through junk stores is a whole 'nuther animal.
Hubby's new diet.... Humm...well...
Ah, humm.... nice weather we're having isn't it???
